Dr. Lee will be discussing ways for adults and students to build more mutual understanding and empathy, and why these are tremendously valuable skills in current times. She will mention important examples where differences in cultural values directly influence students' behavior in a classroom setting. Dr. Lee's path of practicing traditional medicine in modern society has involved much experience in overcoming generational and cultural barriers.
