Life in the pandemic of 2020 has been a challenge for all, and underscores the need for improved communication between those of different generational and cultural backgrounds. Dr. Julia Lee will be discussing ways for adults and students to build more mutual understanding and empathy, and why these are tremendously valuable skills in current times. She will mention important examples where differences in cultural values can directly influence students' behavior in a classroom setting. Dr. Lee's path of practicing traditional medicine in modern society has involved much experience in overcoming generational and cultural barriers.

Dr. Lee will be discussing ways to stay well in a fast-paced world driven by technology (smartphone, social media). Both doctors will be discussing practical ways that acupuncture and Chinese medicine can benefit mental health and wellness.
