Dr. Julia Lee practices Chinese medicine in a way that is relevant to modern life and in open dialogue with modern medicine. She is a Bay Area native whose initial career was in the biotech industry as a researcher in HIV and Hepatitis C drug discovery.
Dr. Lee completed the doctoral program in acupuncture and Chinese medicine at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, and also holds a B.S. in Chemical Biology from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UC San Diego. She currently teaches Chinese medical diagnosis at California University-Silicon Valley, an acupuncture school based in Sunnyvale, California.
Aside from having a foundation for understanding both the Eastern and Western approaches to medicine, Dr. Lee is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English. She serves as a bridge between the Eastern and Western medical traditions, as our times call for the integration of what both perspectives can offer.
